The Cannabis Community

When Illinois legalized medical cannabis in August of 2013, there was a lack of resources available to help people seeking answers. Recognizing the opportunity to assist individuals in navigating the legal access to medical cannabis, the concept for The Cannabis Community was conceived.

Initially launched as a Facebook group, The Cannabis Community curated news, shared events, and addressed the community’s inquiries regarding legal access. As the group expanded, so did the needs of its members.

The Cannabis Community began developing guides, videos, events, podcasts, shows, and other media to cater to the growing interest in cannabis within the community.

Today, The Cannabis Community serves as a comprehensive resource for all things cannabis, offering guidance on obtaining access, culinary techniques, cultivation, and opportunities to connect with other cannabis enthusiasts.
