Paper Crane Cannabis

Paper Crane is a family-founded, owned, and operated legacy cannabis company.

Established in 2019 by husband and wife team Lisa and Boey, both veterans of the war on drugs and members of the Massachusetts Social Equity Program.

We are a family business with over 65 years in the cannabis industry. Boey, a third-generation cannabis entrepreneur, served 2.5 years in state prison for cannabis trafficking (2008-2011) and is a passionate cultivator and caregiver with more than 25 years of experience and deep ties to the plant and industry.

We were the first Social Equity Program outdoor/sungrown farm in Massachusetts to commence operations. As passionate cultivators, we are obsessed with cannabis and committed to addressing the climate crisis by promoting the traditions of outdoor cannabis cultivation. We strive to spread the message of sustainability, minimal carbon footprint, locally sourced inputs, integrity of process, and high-quality cannabis production.

Organic and Regenerative: Paper Crane uses locally sourced organic inputs from local farms and suppliers. We do not use salt-based grow nutrients or chemical fertilizers. Our approach involves establishing a deep connection to the earth and continuously improving and building our soil ecosystems to promote maximum medicinal benefits from the plant and maintain the highest integrity in our production processes. The integrity of the process is as important as the cannabis produced.

Our farm is an Eden of wildflowers, pollinator plants, birds, and beneficial insects (bees, butterflies, praying mantises, ladybugs, hummingbirds) that rely on each other to promote life, balance, and maximum plant health in a beautiful partnership within the ecosystem.
