Panafrican Hemp Association

The Panafrican Hemp Association was founded by Malobi Ogbechie, a staunch advocate for sustainability who discovered hemp at a young age. This discovery spurred extensive research into the distinctions between hemp and its more well-known relative, marijuana.

Inspired by the successes of European and American Hemp Associations, Malobi recognized the necessity of creating enduring institutions to advance ideas and movements. Thus, the Panafrican Hemp Association was established to represent the African hemp movement on a global scale, influencing both political and economic spheres.

Our mission is to educate governments, civilians, and companies about the myriad qualities and products derived from this versatile plant. From textiles to construction materials and beyond, there are thousands of uses for hemp. Additionally, we strive to advocate for and foster a healthy investment environment for hemp projects across the continent.

We are growing every day and invite you to join us on this journey.
