Established in 1986, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit research and educational organization focused on developing medical, legal, and cultural frameworks for individuals to safely benefit from the responsible use of psychedelics and marijuana. Since our inception, we have been committed to disseminating our findings and innovations, believing that sharing our work globally is vital to achieving our mission of democratizing mental health healing. We envision a future where psychedelics and marijuana are accessible for therapeutic purposes within a legal framework that prioritizes rigorous scientific scrutiny of their risks and benefits.
