Our supplements and botanicals, derived from USDA-certified organic hemp, are cultivated on our partner farm in Boulder, Colorado. Jessica Bates is passionate about crafting sustainable and clean health and beauty products. As a certified clinical herbalist with over a decade of experience working with medicinal herbs, Jessica incorporates her expertise into our product formulations. Her commitment to women’s health and well-being also informs our product development at Moon Mother.

Edward Bates, co-founder of Moon Mother Hemp Company, has 15 years of experience as a medical care provider in the cannabis industry. His passion for providing access to high-quality organic cannabis is rooted in eco-consciousness and sustainability. Edward serves as the lead farmer and production manager, ensuring quality throughout the growth stages to the final product. As parents of two young children, Jessica and Edward are committed to creating products at Moon Mother that are clean and sustainable for the present and future generations.

Moon Mother Hemp Company is a proud small-scale, family-run operation. Our team is responsible for every aspect of our hemp production, from planting seeds to harvesting and slow-curing each plant. Our farm, a 14-acre USDA-certified organic farm in Boulder, Colorado, historically produced vegetables and herbs. Since receiving our first license from the Colorado Department of Agriculture in 2017, we have introduced 5 acres of hemp, with acreage expanding every year. Our commitment to sustainable farming practices, including biodynamic practices, ensures that our land and soil are supported. The care we put into our smaller-scale farming practices is evident in the quality, taste, and effectiveness of Moon Mother’s products.
