Last Prisoner Project

The Last Prisoner Project was established in 2019 with the conviction that no one should remain imprisoned or suffer the repercussions of offenses that are now legal.

We united a diverse group of justice-impacted individuals, policy and education experts, and leaders in criminal justice and drug policy reform to address the fundamental injustice of America’s cannabis prohibition and the War on Drugs.

Our committed team works tirelessly to free the tens of thousands still unjustly incarcerated and to implement systemic reforms in our criminal legal system.
