In my upbringing, my grandfather ignited my fascination with puzzles and problem-solving. He taught me the value of “Removing All Assumptions” to explore new perspectives and find innovative solutions.

At Green Thumb, we are dedicated to a new paradigm of well-being, rooted in the belief that cannabis can be transformative. We are committed to achieving this vision through collaboration.

Before founding this company, I cast my vote for Prop 215 while attending school in California in 1996. This landmark ballot initiative was the first to legalize medical marijuana statewide, and participating in it was a privilege that shaped my understanding of civic engagement.

Since then, the end of cannabis prohibition has been a compelling focus for me. I’ve studied its historical parallels with the repeal of alcohol prohibition in the 1930s, recognizing that while history doesn’t repeat itself, it often rhymes.

We are now in the era of Prohibition 2.0. We are presented with a unique opportunity to make a significant impact: addressing the opioid epidemic, creating jobs, funding education, and, most importantly, improving people’s quality of life.

This progress is driven by people—those who champion change and support our mission. We are thankful for those who paved the way before us, allowing us to exist and inspiring us to challenge conventions and innovate for the betterment of all.
