GH Medical, an initiative by the Strain Hunters Foundation and GHM Europe, is based in The Netherlands. Our activities encompass consulting, scientific and medical research, product development, and quality control services. Our team of scientists and experts gathers and disseminates science-based information about cannabinoids, their biochemical interactions within the body, and their potential use in combating diseases.

Cannabis and its active ingredients, cannabinoids, have shown therapeutic effects in conditions such as cancer, epilepsy, autism, schizophrenia, depression, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Crohn’s disease, neuropathic pain, multiple sclerosis, migraines, and numerous other disorders. At GH Medical, we aim to collect anecdotal evidence and substantiate it with rigorous, science-based research. We isolate individual cannabinoids, test their biochemical and physiological functions, and evaluate their therapeutic potential, both alone and in combination with other cannabinoids.

Additionally, we offer comprehensive analytical testing for common cannabis contaminants, including mold, fungus, bacteria, chemical residues, salts, remaining solvents, and pesticides. Our lab also provides full quantitative profiling of cannabinoids and terpenes.
