Andrew boasts over 30 years of extensive experience in Accounting and Tax, having served as CFO and Founder of numerous multi-million dollar enterprises, as well as working with Big 4 firms. His seasoned professionalism spans more than 5 years, and he is committed to assisting accounting professionals in achieving work-life balance, establishing successful businesses, and nurturing the next generation of industry experts. Notably, Andrew led the 2021 ACIPA cannabis conference.

With a wealth of experience providing executive leadership and strategic guidance to companies in diverse sectors such as retail, manufacturing, energy, medical/bio, and tech, Andrew established DOPE CFO. He created a national cannabis accounting/bookkeeping and tax training program, enabling students in all 50 states to access a new client base and empowering them to launch their own practices, generating wealth in the burgeoning Cannabis and CBD/Hemp industry.

Andrew was a finalist for Portland Business Journal’s CFO of the Year in 2017, marking the first nomination for a cannabis CFO in the category. His background includes tenure at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the Big 4, and he earned the 1995 Gold Medal Award for achieving the highest score on the CPA exam. Andrew specializes in cannabis startups, CFO services, turnaround and high-growth strategies, capital acquisition, mergers, exits, and wealth preservation. Additionally, he serves on the AICPA Cannabis Industry Conference Planning Committee.
