Association for Cannabis Health Equity and Medicine (ACHEM)

The Association for Cannabis Health Equity and Medicine (ACHEM) is a professional medical association within the Cannabis Health Equity Movement (CHEM)™. It is a mutual benefit nonprofit organization serving the needs of BIPOC healers and health and medical professionals in advancing health equity. Founded by Drs. Janice, Jessica, and Rachel Knox, along with Dr. Ogadinma “Oga” Obie, ACHEM aims to decrease the incarceration rate of cannabis patients, particularly those of color, to promote health equity. Please note that ACHEM is not involved in the propagation, manufacture, distribution, inventory, or retail of any controlled substances, including cannabis.

ACHEM is developing several services to support its mission:

A library of letters and resources for patients with various medical conditions to use in their defense. Training for ACHEM healthcare experts to provide letters, testimony, and other services in medical cannabis legal cases. A database to connect legal teams with ACHEM medicolegal experts. Your support in assisting deserving patients is highly valued. Donations to CHEM Allyance on behalf of ACHEM are tax deductible. Thank you for your generous contribution!
