Maryland Hemp Coalition

The MHC is committed to the development and safeguarding of Maryland’s hemp industry. Established in 2019 following the legislation that initiated the hemp sector, our organization has collaborated to foster an effective and dynamic industry. Our membership comprises a diverse array of entrepreneurs, farmers, processors, retailers, manufacturers, researchers, and educators.

In 2022, the Coalition was officially recognized as a 501(c6) non-profit organization, dedicated to protecting and advancing the hemp industry in Maryland. Our mission is to nurture a stronger and more flourishing hemp industry and to educate the public about the potential of this remarkable plant.
