Tea Pad

The mission of Tea Pad reflects Jacquie’s value of “Tikkun olam,” a Hebrew concept meaning “repair of the world.” This inspires Jacquie to lead Tea Pad and its sister social enterprise, CannabizMD, with principles rooted in tikkun olam, collaborating with partners who act constructively and beneficially for society through passion, transparency, teamwork, accountability, determination, and a strong willingness to evolve.

Recognizing a gap in quality medical cannabis industry content focused on cannabis science, policy, and industry innovation, Jacquie founded CannabizMD in 2017. CannabizMD is a B2B platform with a mission to educate, build, and engage an ecosystem of stakeholders to deliver optimal patient and product outcomes.

Music has always been integral to Jacquie’s life, with an eclectic taste encompassing classical piano and guitar, American jazz, blues, funk, and rock and roll. She finds the history of American jazz especially powerful, appreciating its attitude toward life and its inspiration for civil rights.

Jacquie is a uniquely qualified cannabis industry pioneer and recognized global leader, with an academic background in policy studies, international economics, and cannabis science. She graduated with honors from the inaugural class of the Master of Science in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy (UMSOP) in 2021 and now serves as an adjunct professor in state and federal cannabis laws and policy at UMSOP.

Jacquie has consistently been recognized as a trailblazing female entrepreneur in both the traditional healthcare industry and the medical cannabis industry.
